BEHIND THE LENS…
And always loving it!MY name is Makayla clayborn and I am from the midwest. As you might imagine, I do indeed love wearing a pair of good ole cowboy boots, but I also have a soft spot for traveling outside of these wide open spaces!
Since I was a lil gal, I always loved stories + art. I was INTRIGUED and fascinated with the ability to create or retell a story. (You can ask my husband…I am also an avid book reader!) Being able to tell a story captured my heart and I was also interested in how these tales can be told with visuals. (Which led me to going to college for design, as well as fitness…but that is a story for another time!)
As much as I love story-telling, I love what it means to be human. We love, laugh, cry, wander, wait, you name it. All of this wraps us tight and INTERWINDS with one another. I am here to tell all of it. I cannot wait to work with you!
Parts of my story…
You may or may not have seen why I developed the “Lucky bones” motto, but I will tell you exactly how that resonates with me and my story - Personally, it is a mantra that I started saying to myself as a reflection of how truly lucky I am to not only be able to do the things I love, but do them with the people I love! Surrounded by such love, how could you not think you had the luckiest bones?
Some of my interests that I have not previously mentioned included traveling + seeing all of what life has to offer, working out (currently in my running era), listening to country music, enjoying matcha in a small cafe, hiking, and beyond. (Trust me, I could go on.)
This life is too grand to not go out and live + I am too lucky to not go out and love.
